4. Refund Policy

At Private Mentorship, we value your commitment and aim to provide exceptional service. Initially, we operated without a formal refund policy, relying on good faith agreements. However, we encountered several challenges: some clients scheduled consultations and purchased hours but delayed their start date for up to a year, while others participated in a single session and postponed their return for several months. Despite multiple attempts to re-engage these clients, many did not return, leaving us holding onto unused hours and funds. Consequently, we found ourselves issuing refunds without requests, which prompted the implementation of a new, clear refund policy.
Refund Eligibility:

-
24-Hour Window: Full refunds are available within 24 hours of payment.
-
Post 24-Hours: Payments are non-refundable. By proceeding with the payment, you agree to complete the purchased hours as per your schedule with Private Mentorship.
Conditions:

-
Refunds are not provided for missed appointments, inactivity, or other personal reasons after the initial 24-hour period.
-
Private Mentorship holds no liability for any unused hours beyond this period.

5. Appointment Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules can change. To ensure smooth operation and fairness, we have established the following cancellation policy:

24-Hour Appointment Cancellation Policy:

-
Cancellation Window: Clients must contact Private Mentorship to cancel an appointment at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
-
No Deduction: If an appointment is canceled within this 24-hour window, no hours will be deducted from the client’s total purchased hours.
-
Late Cancellations and No-Shows: If a client fails to cancel within 24 hours of the appointment, 2 hours or more will be immediately deducted from the total purchased hours.
Cancellation Limits:

-
For 1-month contracts: A client is only allowed to cancel up to 3 sessions consecutively or 3 sessions within the 1-month period. If a client continues to cancel appointments exceeding this limit, they will forfeit their purchased hours and their time will be taken by another client.
-
For 2-month contracts: A client is only allowed to cancel up to 5 sessions consecutively or 5 sessions within the 2-month period. If a client continues to cancel appointments exceeding this limit, they will forfeit their purchased hours and their time will be taken by another client.

6. Client Engagement Policy

Private Mentorship is dedicated to providing consistent and reliable support. When an agreement is made, we commit to being available on the agreed-upon days each week. To maintain the integrity of our scheduling and support other clients effectively, the following engagement policy applies:

-
Consistent Attendance: Clients are expected to adhere to their agreed session schedule. If a client fails to attend sessions for more than 2 weeks without prior notice, their remaining hours will be terminated, and they will need to repurchase hours to continue.
-
Extended Breaks: If a client decides to take a break for several weeks or months, they will forfeit their remaining hours. This is because long periods of inactivity disrupt the mentor’s schedule and focus on other clients.
7. Client Responsibilities

-
Clients must ensure that their personal schedules allow for consistent participation in the agreed sessions.
-
Any changes to the agreed schedule must be communicated to Private Mentorship as soon as possible.
